The Meet Series is a workshop targeted at lovers of creativity and is aimed at creating a platform where the experts and the enthusiast and growing experts to teach and rub minds and knowing all it takes to become experts in various creative field of life. The workshop also affords minds who are already in the field, the needed training needed to take their trade to a higher level of professionalism by exposing them to renowned experts who are abreast with the latest methodology & trends in designs.
The workshop is a training session which is segmented into two (2) major sessions, namely- Photography, and Makeovers. Experts in each of the listed fields have already been confirmed to participate in training the contestants. This is a workshop which will be coming up subsequently in the University of Lagos & other tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
The OBJECTIVE of the workshop is to help train students and other participants to be capitally self-reliant through any/all of the two (2) sectors of the industries. The aim of the program is to help a significant number of the public to be self employed, thus helping to reduce the degree of the rampant unemployment saga in the nation.
The workshop is organized by OFFICIALTHING EVENTS, an Event Planning, Branding and information technology outfit and is currently supported by the SOCIAL SCIENCES STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (SOSSA) , University of Lagos, the PURPOSE FOUNDATION UNILAG, a student NGO in the University of Lagos; and Eureka-Unilag103.1FM.
