As usual, special thanks to my source:
So far, I've witnessed 2 big politicians cry like babies while addressing d public.
First was a governorship candidate in the Oct 20, 2012 gubernatorial election in Ondo State (names withheld) who asked his people to vote for him while weeping profusely at a campaign ground. Secondly is Senator Ayo Akinyelure (aka Allover) who wept like a baby today while addressing some members of his constituent on his role in the 'child marriage' brouhaha.
He said, "I voted in error. I can never in my life support underage marriage. Whatever this might have caused my people, please forgive me".
Speaking with journalists thereafter, he said, "I have already apologized to my people. It is voting in error. And now that they have accepted it, I believe as the Senator representing Ondo Central, I'll do what is humanly possible at my disposal to ensure that this thing is removed from the constitution"
